FUNDRAISING Golden Leaves is a member of the Fundraising
We are always looking for new ideas for fundraising, whether it be alongside us, or if any individual or organisation wants to organise something on our behalf. In the past people have organised quizzes, walks, dances, sports evenings, parachute jumps, or asked for one of our collection tins for their pub/office. If anyone wants to be kind enough to do something for us, please contact Rose. Alternatively if someone would like to donate a raffle or tombolla prize, just contact Rose. Membership is voluntary, but it means that Golden Leaves have agreed to adhere to a strict set of codes and a Fundraising Promise committing them to treat the public with respect, honesty, fairness and clarity in their fundraising activities. They have also signed up to a robust, independent and transparent complaints process.
GOLDEN LEAVES COMPLAINTS PROCESS The person who will deal with any complaints is the Golden Leaves Committee Secretary, Ellanor Hurst. If you have a complaint please contact her in writing at 1 Audley Street, Hull HU2 9BW, or alternatively via the website www.goldenleavescharity.org.uk You must register a complaint within 28 days of the incident occurring. Golden Leaves will then acknowledge this complaint within 14 days. The complaint will then be fully investigated, and you will be informed of a response within 30 days of the acknowledgement. If at that point you are not satisfied with the response, you can then take your complaint to the Fundraising Standards Board. You have 2 months to do this.
